Wonderful Weekend... Part 1

We had an amazing weekend! Many of our
family traveled to be with us this weekend for Ben, Melissa and Everly's sealing.
We started the weekend Friday with 15 family members coming to
the closing night of Noah's play "Fiddler on the Roof"...
It was wonderful to have so many come support him!

This was the first High School show Jennie, Tyler and Melissa have seen Noah in. (Of course Aunt Linda is one of his biggest fans!)
He loved having them there!
Noah's cousin Steve Dixon drove up to support him as well (didn't get a picture :(
...his cousin Helen
Sweet Sierra...Noah loved playing a part with her!

Such a great experience...
Even more wonderful experiences to come in the next post!

Colorado!

We had a wonderful time visiting Tyler and his family
in Grand Junction, Colorado!
We are so proud of them... after 3 years in Nebraska at Law School
they have settled in Grand Junction.  Tyler is working at a great Law Firm
and they are getting settled.
Playing with Papa...
They live just minutes from a beautiful National Park...
We had a picnic and went exploring :)
Of course... if there is a mountain to climb,
Dixon boys will find a way to climb it!
These boys wouldn't let Kelly put them down :) Asa (who usually isn't
afraid of anything)... kept hearing "Bee's"!
Best buddy's...
Happy Birthday Brad!
After Brad, Cami and Asa headed home
we wanted to go bowling... when we got there James saw they had a
skating rink! That was it... he loves to skate!
When we got home, Everly and Noah were waiting for us...
We were also able to celebrate Asa's 2nd Birthday!  Oh this
boy LOVES his trucks!
What a wonderful weekend with our family!

True Friends...

These women are such a blessing in my life!
We have experienced joy, discouragement, miracles, loss and much more...but with support from dear friends we continue to move forward in faith.  Love you ladies!
"We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over." – Ray Bradbury

New York City!

Noah had the opportunity for a trip of a lifetime with the
Lehi High School Drama Department to
NEW YORK CITY!
They had an amazing time!
They were able to see FIVE Broadway shows!!!
Once... Pippin... Matilda... Violet and Newsies!
Rockefeller Plaza

These students had the BEST chaperones!!
Randy and Nancy Blackburn took extra special care of Noah!...Thanks so much!
Ms. Nelsen, McKenzie Florence and Mason Holmstead
Cheryl Allgaier
What great people to have providing amazing opportunities for our kids!
They were able to go to a couple of New York Studios for vocal and acting workshops...
and the amazing, tiring, infamous
3 Hour DANCE Workshop...
Noah was chosen as a featured dancer... pretty good for a
kid who didn't think he could dance!  They were worked hard!

They were able to go to Ground Zero and the 911 Memorial

And then to Central Park...
In Times Square Noah asked this cute girl to go to Prom with him...
He called for everyone's attention, got down on 1 knee, handed her a ring box with a folded paper ring inside asking her to Prom... leave it to Noah to make a dramatic "Proposal!" and she said YES!
They went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island...
More fun in the Big City!
He said... "Do I ever have to come home?  It feels like home here!  I can't wait to come back"
Oh boy... So glad he had such a great time!
