Happy Birthday Kalvin!

Our first born Grandson...Kalvin... turned 4 yesterday!
We love you Kalvy! We are so proud of you and what a good boy you are... you are so smart, kind and such a great big brother!
WE LOVE YOU!
Your Mama sure made you an adorable cupcake cake!!
Your Daddy tells me that you and all your friends sure had fun
shooting water guns and throwing water balloons!  It was especially fun getting
your Mama (their Sunbeam teacher!) all wet!

And Rhett sure loved his cupcake!
Hope you had a FANTASTIC day!  It was fun skyping with you while you opened your presents.
We can't wait to see you in three weeks!

Summer Fun!

A couple of weeks ago, the Armstrong-Bergquist clan invited Ethan to go to Island Park Idaho with them for the 4th of July Week... well-Ethan had the time of his life! It was so fun for him to be with the cousins....10 boys (I think ;) and a couple of girls.... forts, mountains, water, fireworks...what more could you ask for!

When he got home... I let him in on a BIG secret!  My Dad flew Ethan and I to San Diego to meet up with Allyn, Linda and family!  We LOVE when we are able to go to the beach with the Family!  My big dream is to be able to go with my kids and grandkids someday...
We were so grateful for this chance!  Noah was in summer school and James stayed home to work :(
There was alot of time spent on the beach... boogie boarding, sand castle making and lots of fun!

Lots of cousin time! (and a few friends, too!)

I got to spend alot of time holding this adorable boy...

Do you see what his shirt says?
"My cute Aunt Amy is single...wanna be my new Uncle?"
Pretty cute... he is a great advertisement!

We went in to San Diego one day and the kids played at a blow up park... they had fun trying to stand up in these balls...and launching water balloons at each other!
And then the highlight of the day...
Lunch at Lucha Libre Taco Shop... Man vs. Food visited there!  It was really pretty awesome and some great Mexican food!
The family had a great Baseball game on our last day at the beach...
EJ and Levi were pretty inseperable... as usual!  Especially when EJ let's Levi play with his Ipod!

We finished the week at Fedora night at the Padre's game...
It was such a beautiful night... (but not for the Padre's ;)
(They really did look up a few times to watch the game... I promise :)

We are so grateful for a wonderful week!  Thanks to the family for the great time!
