Happy Birthday Tyler!

Happy Birthday to our First Son!  We love you and are so proud of you and your family!  You have brought us so much joy through the years and we are blessed to call you our son!
Thanks for all the music you have brought into our home and for giving us our first Grandson!
You are the wonderful husband and father we knew you would be.  You continue to inspire us.
We love you!

Goodbye Gordon

Our wonderful neighbor Gordon passed away on Friday after a 5 week battle with leukemia.  James and Brad had the wonderful opportunity to spend several hours with him at the hospital so his dear wife Dixie could get a little rest.  We are so sad, and the cul-de-sac will never be the same.
We have been blessed by his special ability to serve others.  Gordon could fix anything!  Our boys were taught to fix their cars,  to love fireworks,  and drive fast.  He also taught them how to be a wonderful father, husband, friend and teacher.  At the viewing, Noah was having a hard time... I told him "you just need to do what he has taught you to do... well maybe NOT everything" ;)
Dixie is an angel on earth.  She has served us all with her sensitive spirit and musical talents.  We pray for peace for her and the family.
Gordon and Dixie's sons have been special friends to our boys.  We are so proud of their two missionaries out serving and pray for them.  We are so grateful to KNOW that Families are Forever!

Baby Shower!

Cami's sister and good friend and I gave her a baby shower a week ago.  We had so much fun!  Cami and her baby boy received so many wonderful and needed things.  We are all so grateful for all the support from friends and family who were so generous.  We are so excited to meet this sweet
little boy!  Only 4 weeks to go...

These Baby Toms were a BIG hit!  Thanks Jennie!!

Elder Ben

A little update on our Elder... Ben is doing so well.  He was made a Zone Leader recently.  He was very surprised because they haven't given leadership responsibility to Chinese speaking Elders in many years in the mission.  We know he is up to the task!  He has been transferred for the first time since he first got there (over a year!)  He is now in the hills of L.A. and he says it is beautiful!  We miss him so much, but we are so grateful he is sharing his love of the Savior with all who are willing to listen.
Keep up the good work, Elder Dixon!
These Elders have a great Ward Mission Leader who takes them out for Cantonese food regularly... Ben says his favorite dish is chicken feet...hmm...
